Questions

Got Questions? We've Got Answers

What ages can attend?

Our camps welcome children ages 5–11. Campers are thoughtfully grouped by age and skill level so that every child feels supported while still being appropriately challenged. Each group progresses through the activities at a pace that allows students to fully explore, build, and learn with confidence.

When do camps run?

Summer camps run in weekly sessions starting in June through August. Half day sessions are 8:45 AM to 1PM. Full day sessions are 9 AM to 3 PM with lunch included.

What is the difference between the Full Day and Half Day curriculum?

Both options feature our core hands-on STEM curriculum in the mornings. Full Day Curriculum STEM camps offer afternoon outdoor/indoor labs featuring high energy collaboration games for team building and leadership development, while Half Day curriculum STEM camps feature outdoor exploration, free-choice stations, and yoga.

Who developed our camp curriculum?

All WonderWorks Lab programs and curriculum-aligned STEM kits are developed by educators, scientists, and engineers for real-world learning, ensuring every activity is built on authentic scientific principles.

Who teaches the camps?

Our Camp Lead Instructors are experience STEM educators who either have extensive teaching backgrounds in STEM and/or advanced STEM degrees.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy follows the guidelines set by the Parks and Recreation Department at each of our partner camp locations. Please refer to the registration page of your specific camp site for their official cancellation and refund deadlines.

If a cancellation occurs after the allowed deadline, or if a camper is unable to attend due to illness or other unexpected circumstances, we will provide a WonderWorks Lab Camp-at-Home Kit. This kit includes the camp curriculum booklet and hands-on project supplies, allowing your child to enjoy the activities and continue exploring the camp’s STEM projects at home.

Our goal is to ensure that every camper still has the opportunity to learn, build, and discover, even if they are unable to attend camp in person.
